At Hometown, prayer is a priority because we believe everything we do depends on God. Prayer keeps us connected to Him, aligns our hearts with His, and reminds us that real growth—both in our lives and as a church—comes through His work, not simply our efforts. That’s why prayer is woven into the everyday life of Hometown. We pray during our worship services, in our meetings, in our Small Groups, at worship nights and other gatherings, and whenever we come together to seek God and care for one another. We also set aside regular ways and times to pray together throughout the week. Below you’ll find those opportunities, and we invite you to find a place to join in.
Join people from across Hometown Church as we come together online to seek God in prayer. We spend the first half of our time praising God for who He is and what He has done, then spend the second half bringing specific needs, people, ministries, and concerns before Him. You’re welcome to pray out loud, pray silently, or simply listen and agree in prayer. Cameras remain off, and there is no expectation to attend every gathering—come whenever you can. Imagine what God might do if 50, then 100 people from across Hometown regularly united in prayer for our church, our church, our communities, and those who don’t yet know Jesus.
