Hometown Kids is a place to create the spiritual foundation your children will build on for the rest of their lives. We believe the role of the church is to assist parents in the discipling of their children...basically we are here to help however we can!
Our kid’s team is passionate about teaching and engaging your kids, with age-specific lessons, crafts and games. You will notice that we have older youth that assist the teachers in classes. This creates a culture where our youth love to serve the younger kids…and at the same time the younger kids look up to and build friendships with children that are a stage ahead of them.
We offer children’s programs from nursery care to 5th grade during the service as well as some take home conversation starters to help parents build on the lessons throughout the week. Every volunteer is background checked.
Important note: we are resuming childcare post Covid-19 regulations and are not yet at our goals. Be sure to check the campus you will be attending for details.
Each teen is on a journey and each parent of a teen is on a wild ride as well! Our goal is to partner with both the parents and the teens. We want to come alongside parents and help them help them lead their teen through the hard questions while discovering Jesus. On teen nights we incorporate a mixture of in-depth teaching with small groups. Teens also have the chance to experience God through worship, conferences, service projects, and relationships with each other. We know God has an incredible plan for every teen, and we are trusting Him to create a movement of passionate, God-seeking leaders in the next generation.
Hometown Teens meet on Wednesday nights from 7-8:45 pm at our Bloomington and Lakeville Campuses and Saturdays from 6-8pm at our New Hope location. Check out our Teens Schedules on our Events Page HERE.
It’s important to us that parent are involved in their teens lives. Parents are invited to attend Wednesday nights and other teen activities.
While marriage is one of the happiest and most rewarding life experiences, we know it can also be challenging. We want to help your marriage be a success, as you uncover God’s unique plan and dream for your marriage. With the proper tools in hand, you can feel supported and equipped in one of the most important areas of your life.
We believe the best opportunity for your children to know God is to combine two powerful influences: the church and the home. Together, we are stronger. We offer parenting workshops, parenting-specific small groups and vibrant weekly kid’s programs to provide the tools you need to go deeper with your kids. Parents, join with us as we seek to develop sincere faith and a growing maturity in our children.
